Ravinala was born in Canada with Egyptian and Saudi Arabian roots. She graduated from University of British Columbia in 2021 with a political science and economics degree. Her passion for financial literacy and improving the financial ecosystem of universities was evident during her time at university, where she was dedicated to creating a platform that improved students' financial literacy. In 2022 she started working at a boutique bank in Zurich, where she focuses on both relationship management and business development in the MENA region.
Ravinala believes that democratizing private banking and wealth management as well as encouraging and educating young people to invest is an important step in the banking industry. She joined Marmot with a commitment to promoting financial literacy and wellness among young women. She sees investing as a crucial component of building long-term financial security, and believes that it is important to foster investment habits in women at an early stage.
